Being true to yourself, and when music comes from the heart, the audience will feel it.
That's one big advice CNBLUE's Lee Jung Shin is giving to all contestants gearing up for the local auditions of Kpop Star Hunt.
The Korean rock band's bassist arrived in Singapore on 12 September for a one-day whirlwind promotional tour for channel M's talent reality series, Scoot: Kpop Star Hunt 3.
During his short 17-hour stay in Singapore, Jung Shin met the media and shared with us his idol journey thus far, and how contestants for Kpop Star Hunt should prepare themselves for the contest.
"I have no personal experiences with auditions, I may not be the best person to give advice," says Jung Shin.
"I feel that as long as you are real to the music that you do, and that you have the right attitude towards what you are doing, and your music comes from the heart.
"Instead of doing anything flowery or fanciful, I believe the true feelings are what that reach out to the judges and audience."
